Sewing,
to your measurements.

Hi, I'm Coco. Pick a design, I fit it to YOUR measurements and I guide you all the way to the last stitch — whether you're just starting out or you've been sewing for years.

Coco, your sewing assistant

Sewing is something you learn by sewing.

You don't need years of experience. You need a pattern that fits you, clear steps, and someone to ask when the thread snaps or an instruction stumps you. That's exactly what I do.

— Coco, your sewing assistant.

What I do for you

Everything to sew a garment
that fits you, from start to finish.

Not three apps, not a store-bought pattern that hangs wrong, not ten contradictory tutorials. Just you, your machine, and me.

A pattern that fits you — not S, M, L

  • The heart of TailorSage: every pattern is recalculated from your measurements, down to the centimetre — the garment hangs just right, on your own body.
  • You enter your measurements once; I then use them for all your projects.
  • A “how to measure” helper is there if you need it — a five-minute job, not the main event.

An illustrated glossary, real sewing technique

  • In the Library, a glossary of 68 terms, most of them with a clear drawing: bias, overcasting, balance notch, gather, facing…
  • Even a hem — which everyone thinks they know how to do — I show you the clean move, the one sewists use.
  • Reachable from any screen: you're never stuck on a word, and you learn the technique as you sew.

Patterns you adapt

  • One pattern, several versions: round or V neckline, short or long sleeves, classic or elastic waistband, knee-length or midi skirt…
  • You choose your options; I recalculate the pattern and the steps accordingly.
  • Enough to make YOU the piece you want, not one imposed version.

Step by step, truly step by step

  • Every pattern is broken into short steps: cut, assemble, hem, fit the closure.
  • Each step has its own clear diagram drawn in the app, its tips, the pitfalls to avoid and an estimated time.
  • You tick them off as you go and pick your project back up exactly where you left it.

Your pattern, printed or drawn by hand

  • Export an A4 PDF calibrated to the centimetre — print it at home, tape it together, sew. The test square confirms the scale.
  • No printer? I give you the dimensions to trace it yourself on paper, with a ruler and a compass (“draw a 22 × 8 cm rectangle”…).
  • It's your call; for the most complex pieces, I point you to the PDF.

Sew without a pattern too

  • An idea of your own, an alteration, a home project? Start a free project.
  • You choose your techniques; I lay down a clear foundation — prepare the fabric, trace, cut, assemble, hem.
  • Each step is spelled out, with its tips and its timing, and I stay right there to back you up.

Coco answers, without sending you elsewhere

  • The thread snaps, an instruction isn't clear, a doubt about the fabric? You ask me, I answer.
  • I know your project, your pattern, your level — so I answer in your context, not in generic terms.
  • No “go search that on YouTube”: the answer is right here, in the app.

In French, English and Spanish

  • Interface, patterns, steps, glossary and chats with me: everything switches to the language you choose.
  • You can change language at any time, without losing any of your projects.
Made to measure

No two bodies
are alike.

And that's a good thing. I never hand you an “average” cut: I start from your body, your level, your machine and your pace.

  • Every body, the whole family You save your measurements — and those of your whole family, children included: one person per member, each with their own measurements. The pattern adjusts to the right person.
  • Your level Beginner, intermediate or confident: I tune the level of detail in the explanations so you're never bored nor lost.
  • Your machine You tell me which machine you have; I take it into account when you ask me a technical question.
  • Your pace Sewing for an hour on a Sunday? You pick your project back up where you left off, without losing a thing.

Restraint · Frugal AI

An AI that thinks before it consumes.

Coco only calls on an AI model when it's truly useful — not for every question. Faster for you, gentler on the planet, and more respectful of your data.

AI only when needed

For a real question, a particular case on your project, I call on the model. For everything else, no need to bother a big machine.

Only the bare minimum sent

When I consult the AI, I only send what serves the advice — never your identity. Your measurements and your projects stay yours.

Restrained by choice

Less computing means less energy. A modest habit, but consistent with the idea of making things yourself, sustainably.

You're wondering…

The questions I get asked most.

Is it free?
Yes. The whole pattern catalogue, the steps, the glossary and the PDF export are free. Coco (the assistant) has a daily question limit, to stay restrained — plenty to make progress on a project.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, a small account (Sign in with Apple or email) is needed — that's what lets me retrieve your measurements and your projects when you switch devices, and keep it all safe.
I'm a complete beginner, is this for me?
Yes. Half the catalogue is designed for getting started (tank top, straight skirt, shorts, pyjamas, tote bag, cushion covers). The explanations adapt to your level, and I never judge — we learn by sewing.
Can I sew for the whole family, children included?
Yes. You create one person per family member and enter their measurements — children included. Since everything is made to measure, the pattern adapts to each of them. Preset children's sizes are planned to go even faster.
How does a pattern adapt to my measurements?
You enter your measurements, and the pattern is recalculated from your body, down to the centimetre. You get a PDF to print at full size, ready to cut. No standard size grid where you'd land “between two”.
Do my measurements stay private?
Yes. They're stored on European servers (GDPR), never sold, never used for advertising. You can delete your account and all your data whenever you like. The details are here.
What exactly is Coco?
A built-in sewing assistant. She knows your project and your level, and answers your technical questions without sending you off to a forum or a video. To stay fast and restrained, she only calls on the AI for the real questions.
Will the catalogue grow?
Yes. This first version brings together 23 clothing patterns (from the tank top to the jacket) and 5 accessories (bags, cushion covers). The catalogue will keep growing version after version — don't hesitate to tell me what you're missing.
I don't have a printer, is it still possible?
Yes. On many patterns, I give you the instructions to draw your pattern by hand on paper, with the measurements worked out from yours (“draw a 22 × 8 cm rectangle”…). No printer needed to get going.
Do you speak other languages?
Yes — French, English and Spanish. Interface, patterns, steps, glossary and chats with me: everything switches to the language you choose.
On which devices?
iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 minimum). The app is coming soon to the App Store.

We start whenever you like.

Bring your tape measure, I'll take care of the rest.
